Saint Tropez - Cavalaire course on Saturday in rainy weather 🌧️and an east wind 25/30 knots with a few gusts to 35 arriving at Moutte au prés, in rough seas 🌊and short, suffice to say: rodeo on the program 🙃 , and a few bruises to boot🤕.
Then it opens and we go downwind with a few surfs at more than 16 knots😜 between Taillat and Lardier, much cooler...until the finish in front of Cavalaire after 2h24 of racing and only around twenty knots left.
Cavalaire route - Saint Tropez on Sunday. Change of atmosphere with sunshine ☀️, 20 knots from SW and a nice residual South swell.
A beautiful downwind descent passing from code 0 to the spinnaker to the moutte, a level crossing at Rabiou with a switch to the East which melts our lead 😓on the JPK 10.10 EXPRESSO. What follows is a tight finish under spinnaker with only 2 seconds ahead of our pursuer... which unfortunately will not be enough to stay in the lead 🙄.
